Abstract

This issue of the online journal DIDACTICUM of the University of Teacher Education Styria presents didactic contributions to the topic of networking in and with General Science (Sachunterricht) in Primary Schools. The journal contains contributions from people with different professional backgrounds and makes current didactic developments accessible to a broad group of interested parties. We therefore invited subject didactics experts for General Science, as well as subject didactics experts from related disciplines, in order to attain multiperspectivity through the explanations of their approaches to holistic subject teaching. Overall, the thematic focus on interconnection in the educational landscape is on making networking potential and the need for networking in the interests of future capabilities visible, with regard to sustainable education for the 21st century.
