Abstract

Inclusion- and participation-oriented training for vocational education staff supports successful training pathways, prepares apprentices with disabilities for the labor market, and promotes equal opportunities. Despite its importance, such training remains underutilized, even though it has the potential to strengthen both inclusion in vocational education and securing skilled labor. Against this background, this study draws on a representative survey of German companies to examine which firms offer such training to their trainers and how organizational characteristics shape these activities.
