Ergebnisse der Studie „Lebenswelten Jugendlicher in der Europaregion Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino 2021“

Abstract

In the study “Lifeworlds of young people in the EUREGIO Tyrol, South Tyrol and
Trentino”, more than 6,500 young people between the ages of 14 and 16 were
surveyed between 2020 and 2021 on topics including how important it is to them to
act in an environmentally conscious manner and how concerned they are about the
environment and climate. This article focuses on the group of young vocational
school students, classifies the study results in the current state of research, shows
differences and similarities with the overall group of young people surveyed in the
three regions of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino and points out that sustainability
competence in the context of vocational training is an important cross-cutting issue
and must be developed, promoted and continued to be practiced in the school
context.
